How one goes about building a beehive?

The bee hive is the home of bee colonies.  Organic beekeeper, Siegfried Amplatz, revealed to us how the hive is built.

An empty frame, made of spruce, is covered with high-grade steel wire.  A pre-formed slab of organic wax is then laid on top.  After that, electricity is conducted through the slab until the soft wax surrounds the high-grade steel wire entirely.  More frames like this are then laid in the wooden hive and a new home awaits the bee colony.

If you would like to witness the creation of a beehive for yourself, you can take a tour of the organic Amplatz apiary, supported by the Greenfinity Foundation, as part of our project to protect the honey bee.
